The Secret To Lasting Change

By Evan Sanders

"The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new." - Socrates

One of the most satisfying, fulfilling, and incredible journeys you can ever begin to travel on is the journey of seeing what your body is capable of. It doesn't really matter where you are at right now with your body, but to see exactly what it could really do is incredibly gratifying. Developing a healthy body and the proper eating habits that go along with it can truly change your life.

So what is the secret to making an everlasting change with your body?

The presence of consistency and commitment.

With consistency and commitment i the mix, you can really do anything. You can go after your biggest goals, move through the inevitable presence of failure, work on becoming the best person you can be and many other visions that come along with that. It's those two character traits that will send you to the top if you decide that you really want to go after something.

Failure is a natural part of chasing dreams, and on the journey towards creating your best body, there's a whole lot of defeats that will happen. But in knowing that and being committed to seeing this all the way through, you will have the ability to bring your best to the table day in and day out.

Consistency will keep you in the game and on the field every day. Without it, you may suffer the the unavoidable reality of many New Years resolution setters who give up every single year on creating the body of their dreams because they do not have the personal power to keep on coming back again and again and again.

Commitment is another huge factor in your future success. When you are committed, there's no excuse in the world that will stop you from tackling your dreams every single day. Others may suffer from a lack of commitment but if you are going after something that you've never had before, you truly have to do what you've never done.

Is that an attractive marketable idea? Not so much. But is it something that could truly change the course of your life? Totally.

Envision yourself with that body. See it and feel it as if you already have it right now. Know what chasing this dream means to you, because when times get tough, you're going to have to hold onto those reasons of why you are doing all of this.

It's time to live the dream you've always wanted to live. It's time to build that body you've always wanted for yourself. Don't wait another second.

Oh, and don't forget - commitment and consistency.
