If We Are Going To Be Honest About Self Help

By Evan Sanders

When we let go of all of the stories telling us we need to be something different than who we are, we finally give ourselves the chance to become who we were destined to be.

The society we have grown up in has taught us this story that we should be much more than we are comfortable in being.

There are stories about our bodies, relationships, the look we have, the lifestyle we lead and just about everything else in the book that you could possibly imagine.

The are incredibly powerful stories that always tell us one thing - we aren't good enough the way we are.

The truth is, you have these incredible gifts that if you unlocked them you could amaze the world. But the first thing you have to do is take off the mask you've been wearing your entire life.

The truth is it's a whole lot easier to be yourself than be someone else.

That may sound counterintuitive, but once you drop all of the nonsense that has been fed to you throughout your entire life you end up being pretty happy with yourself as a person. This doesn't mean that you don't have areas to grow - we all do - but rather it's a strong vote for how unique we all are.

It's in the act of letting go of the old and creating the new that we create everlasting change.

The reason why most people fail in their goals is because they don't actually believe in what they are doing.

Every single day you will be challenged if you're living this way but that's the point. You have to be willing to put it all on the table and come back daily willing to work hard no matter the challenges ahead.

So do it for yourself. Do it because you want to truly get to know the real you.

Love and appreciate the things, people, and life that you have right now.

Accept where you are at and then if you want to build something different for yourself, dive into it fully. Dive into it because you believe in it.

Make your future self proud that you made the decision to act today.

So go and get it for yourself. Do it now.
