What Is Your Take On Interfaith Marriage And Collective Empowerment?

By Dorothy Stewart

Love is what many people regard as a life-changing feeling that is felt by two individuals. Nobody should threaten your relationship interest regardless of how you have met with your partner. However, collective empowerment knows this is not always the case especially when interfaith marriage is concerned. It is regarded as wrong and ungodly by society. However, most people have decided to not be dictated by what people say.

Partaking in a marriage of this caliber requires you to be very realistic about the spiritual dynamics you going to be subjected to. However, it s when you decide to marry the love of your life despite all the drama that your relationship may bring. After all, it is up to you how you going to be able to handle the dynamics that come with such a marriage.

However, it is important to note that, it is not every partnership that is struggling with this spiritual dynamic. If your love was founded on basic things such as love, respect, and loyalty, believing different religions shouldn t be a problem. It only becomes something that is problematic when one spouse isn t exactly happy with the other s religion of spouse.

Unless you were forced into a marriage without your consent, you would have to know about your partner s religious differences before you embark on the journey of committing to each other forever. It is for this reason why you should never rush into a life you not ready to live by. Take your time and get to know your partner before you decide to tie the knot.

Society will always have an opinion about how you are living your life especially if you are in a mixed marriage. However, you should not worry about the negative remarks that you might hear from them. Instead, you need to find strength from your partner because it is about the both of you, after all, it has always been about the both of you.

There are usually terms and conditions that come with you following a certain tradition and religion. As a person who wants to have their own religious beliefs to be respected, you also have to meet your husband or wife halfway by doing the same thing too. After all, you are one but you worshipping differently doesn t take anything from your love for each other.

As an individual who has a personal interest in someone for intimate reasons, it s important to first find out if you are allowed to date or even marry someone who doesn t believe in your religion trait. Some societies accept this and to some, it is completely unacceptable. Therefore, you might need to do a little bit of research before you embark on finding the one.

If you would like to have an interfaith marriage, find out which spiritual leader can be able to help you with your union. There are many people who are qualified and experienced to head such a gathering.
