A grief counsellor is responsible for someone who is recovering from losing a loved one. It can be a very traumatic experience, especially when someone close to you has died. Of course, grief can also become more complex when a person has been through harsh times with the person who has passed away. A spouse may have been involved in domestic violence. They may have put up with their emotional abuse for many years. Being free of this all of a sudden can come as a great relief.

Many women are in a situation like this. However, they are not able to leave. The only way they are able to get out is when the husband dies. Although it is not something that leaves them jumping for joy, the grief is obviously not drawn out, and their life begins to change in a big way with many positive changes in their life that are noticeable.

A lot of people find out later that they were incredibly dependent on the person who has passed away. This may be because of finances. However, when you lose your lover and your best friend it can be extremely tough. Losing a soul mate can mean that you have to adjust to what it was like before these many years of joyful companionship.
