Spiritual Tools To Combat Stressful Events

By Paul Nelson

Naturally, as humans, we feel disappointed whenever we do not meet our self expectations. Sometimes, we are too tired to perform our tasks and do not have the motivation to continue what we have started. Since this is very normal, we are provided with spiritual tools to live a better life.

Encountering complicated situations and not knowing not to do will surely knock you out. Unfortunately, some people decided to give up and end their lives. This common phenomenon nowadays especially in our modern society has affected lots of young people. Their common outlet for their negative feeling is the social media.

Everyone is keeping up their own imaginations and some tend to overdo it. They tend to forget to pause for a while and give themselves some time to ponder on things that needs to be attended. However, we must never forget to take care of our spiritual beings as well. Some of us are too busy with their excessive workloads and daily routines.

As a result, these children seek for another ways to vent out. It could be by starting a fight in school, bullying other children, and doing other nonsense things. This societal illness will worsen our emotional pain.

It will encourage you to always dwell with the biblical teachings. In making every day decisions, we must base it on what we believe is right and not based on our own understanding. It will serve as a solid foundation to stop us from sinking. Being reprimanded by your boss, not submitting your reports within the given deadline, failing in an exam is not a good experience.

These things like contentment, genuine love, and genuine happiness are only obtained when you try to look at the brighter side of life. The happenings around you only reflect on how you react with it. Reacting with positivity will most likely improve the mood of your surroundings.

Positively dealing with your boss will lighten up his or her mood. On the other hand, arguing with him or her will ruin his or her day and the negativity you have shown will bounce back to you. That is why the first tool is to learn to love the people around you. Showing them care will allow them to give back the care they have received. Second is to love yourself.

You should set a limit because of the fact that your abilities are also limited. Otherwise, you will become greedy of achievements and become envious of other people. Third is to pray often. Prayer is the most powerful way to heal you from stressful situations. We have a prayer answering God and thus, you should not worry about anything.

Third, is to be mature because facing stressors with maturity will lessen its complications and will help you find a solution instead of worsening the situation. Your daily obstacles will determine how matured and strong you are psychologically and spiritually and would help you know your weakness. After discovering your weakness, find ways to change your bad habits. By doing this, it will make you a better person.
