You should use the dryer only when the weather is cloudy and wet. By following this tip, you can have lower energy utilities.

If your exhaust fans are more than five years old, consider replacing them with newer more efficient models. Each year you should examine each exhaust fan in your home for damage and replace the filter. A damaged exhaust fan uses more energy and changing the filter allows the fan to work more efficiently.

Another way to live green is to reuse things in your household. Don't throw away that coffee grinds. Coffee grinds can function like chemical plant food, which help fertilize your plants, make your plants grow nicely, adding oxygen to the atmosphere.
