Quick And Simple Steps In Gas Log Installation

Firewood is used to provide fire which in turn warms the immediate surroundings. Then, attach the supply line into the effluvium outlet. You can do this by using two wrenches, one to hold the outlet steady and the other to remove the cap. Follow with connecting the supply line to the outlet. You can test for leaks by spraying soapy water on the part where the ports meets. If bubbling occurs, turn off the the effluvium outlet. Refit the lines and check again.

What follows is attaching the parts. Connect the main assembly and diverter bracket to the pan. A heat shield should cover the heat valve to prevent it from overheating. Afterward, install the sand, rocks and logs.

Evenly distribute sand over the pan. This action action makes the fire consistent. Be sure not to cover the pilot light when distributing. Rock wool and vermiculite will be put over the sand. Lava rocks should then be poured over the entire fireplace. Place the grate on top of the pan. Stack ceramic logs according to the manufacturer manual.
