These pests affect the economy, ecology, human health and agriculture negatively. They may be able to affect the produce from the agricultural activities and could also lead to outbreaks of diseases on livestock and also human beings. Although a majority of the pests are insects, there are some that are bigger in size for example raccoons and seagulls. In order for the situation not to get out of hand, it is necessary to deal with pests. Accumulation of pests may cause diseases to human beings therefore affecting their production level which in turn affects the economy badly.
