Cruises to Hawaii

A lot of people always dream of going on a vacation to one of those cruises to Hawaii. This is because Hawaii is a beautiful country with an incredibly lush tropical landscape, green waters, historical buildings and a thriving metropolis in Honolulu, which is the capital. There are a number of beautiful islands which range from the smallest to the biggest which is Hawaii itself. All these islands create a unique perspective on the Hawaiian culture and way of life.

One of the things that makes the trips to Hawaii a lot of fun is the great climate which lets you go on island hopping no matter whether you are on a singles cruise, family cruise, or a mixed cruise. The climate here is great for carrying out outdoor sports, indoor activities and even relaxing. Hawaii is a place where you can do a lot of fun activities and some of the great places include:

Maui

If there is a place where you can enjoy special moment such as anniversaries, honeymoons or just vacations it is here. This island has a very large area of unexploited places where you can have fun activities in. Kahalui is on the west of this island and it covers a very large area of white sands and clear water. Kahalui is also known for its beautiful rainbows which appear after almost every tropical rainstorm. Kahalui is also the only deep water harbor found on this island and consists of Kahana Pond State Wildlife Sanctuary.

Kona, Hawaii

For those who love coffee, this is where you will find colorful poinsettias and bougainvilla growing in a lot of places. It is believed that Hawaiian royals used this island as their home in the Summer. This area also has a rich dark soil that grows macadamia nuts which are used in wonderful white chocolate and macadamia nut cookies. In this area you will also find a variety of shops where you can get all these food treasures, as well as coral jewelry and handmade loose dresses known as muumuus. Once you are on the land at the port, one place you must make sure you visit is Hulihee Palace that has a wide collection of royal antiques.

Hilo

After Honolulu, this is the second largest city and the first thing that will welcome you is the air full of fragrance of anthariums and orchids. A good thing that will make your walking more enjoyable is the large number of quaint Victorian homes which overlook Half Moon Bay. You will also see a Japanese-styled Yedo Garden here, and a green and tropical forest together with Akaka Falls.

Kauai

To make a landfall on one of your cruises to Hawaii, this is the perfect and compact island. This island boosts of having magnificent waterfalls, crystal-watered pools, sandy beaches and spectacular sunsets. This is why this island is also known as the garden isle of the entire Pacific. The people who call this island home are also very hospitable and they easily share the spirit of true Aloha with all visitors.

Honolulu

This is a place that can take more than twenty-four hours to explore in case your cruise ship stops here for the whole day. This will let you have a taste of the pulsating nightlife, quiet coves, perfect beaches and five star dining. Other very memorable places you can visit during your cruises to Hawaii include the world renowned Diamond Head, which is an extinct volcano, the Polynesian Cultural Center, and the USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor.
