Visiting Suffolk? Know More About Its Great Festivals

Suffolk is probably one of the best places to go if you want to indulge yourself into great tasting foods, vibrant music, outstanding music and dance performances, delicious and sparkling wines and ales, and of course, extravagant celebration of festivals.

From March to June, Suffolk is holding different fares and festivals which the guests would absolutely love and enjoy. The organizers of the event have prepared a wide variety of activities which would surely bring ultimate fun, excitement and thrill.

June is highlighted by the celebration of The Ship Beer Festival which promises a fun-filled weekend through live music and delectable beers from local breweries such as Earl Soham, Green Jack, Adnams, Cliff Quay, Humpty Dumpty and Gray. There is also a never-ending supply of chips and fish for the visitors all day long.

The Suffolk Food, Drink and Music Festival is probably one of the most-visited festivals in Suffolk during the month of May. In fact, more than 5000 people are usually coming over to Suffolk on the first day of celebration of the festival. Through this event, local and national producers, chefs and musicians gather to delight the guests. There is also a Framlingham Country Show, dog shows, cooking demonstrations from expert chefs and amazing concerts from wonderful performing bands every day.

In May, tourists and guests should never forget attending the extravagant celebration of Festeaval. International and carefully handpicked artists are offering wonderful performances along the striking riverside of Woodbridge. Through this event, many DJs, singer-songwriters, poets and spring bands are gathering around the riverside to express their deep passion for different forms of arts.

The organizers of the event also prepared wonderful performances from stilt-walkers, fire dancers and string quartets. There are even operas, magic shows, comedy plays and board games for everyone to enjoy.

Suffolk also celebrates a weekend of food and drink festival which takes places at the garden of Henham Park Nr Southwold. Basically, the event is celebrated to promote the availability of locally produced foods and drinks in East Anglia. There are fun and amusing activities and exhibits for kids while there are cooking demos and lectures for adults.

Suffolk is also celebrating the Jubilee Beer Festival to commemorate the reign of England's queen. The celebration gets started through live and great music, hog roasts and offering of more than 60 kinds of delectable and sparkling ciders and ales.

There are also events for classical music lovers. Every year, Suffolk is actually hosting a world-renowned event that facilitates in the gathering of classical music lovers from different parts of the world. The event is even highlighted by the outstanding performances in concerts, master-classes, lectures, films and recitals.
